Commonly Asked Questions...
What does it mean to be a missionary?
We are completely self supported and our entire financial situation rests in the hands of others and their generous donations. We are not working with a missions organization, and we don't have a lump sum of support coming from any one place. We are missionaries working with a church that cannot afford to pay a salary.
How do you get paid, how do you live financially?
We get a monthly paycheck which is taken from financial gifts given on our behalf. The church itself does not pay us at all, all of the missionary families are self-supporting.
Do you have an outside paying job, do you plan to get one?
No. Not unless we need to because we don't raise enough support. This ministry needs us both full time which is why we continuously pray for financial support to come in.
How do I receive your monthly newsletter?
Send us an email and we will put you on our monthly emailing list. Please tell us who you are and where you are from when you email us!
If I want to support you, who do I make my checks out to, where do I send it?
"Cornerstone Community Church" with "Hinsons" in the memo. Please send checks to the church: 3167 Frankford Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19134.
Can I write a check directly to you?
Yes. However, if you choose to support us this way, you will not receive a tax write off.
Can I make a donation online?
Yes, this money comes directly to our family. It cannot be used as a tax write off. Donations made this way helps our family stay afloat financially each month, and also help us save for special family things!
