Community
Cornerstone is a community church. We are right in the middle of our community and are actively involved through service and hosting events. Christ cared about the physical needs of His community as well as the spiritual needs and we strive to follow His example.
Food Cupboard
One of the many ways our church seeks to serve our community is by providing food for those in need. Our food cupboard operates out of the Lighthouse located next to the church at 2058 E. Allegheny Avenue and is open every Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon (except Thursdays immediately following the first Tuesday of the month). Recipients must sign up to make an appointment the first time they come and bring proof of residence in the 19134 zip code. We would also love for you to share your prayer requests and pray for you during this time.
Block Party
We host an amazing Block Party in the summer which attracts well over 1000 people from our community. The Block Party features inflatables, a water park, carnival games, concerts, prizes and lots of free food.
Thrift Shop
Located at 3058 Frankford Avenue is our Nifty Thrifty thrift shop. This ministry provides inexpensive clothes and household items to our community. Any proceeds are used to benefit our seniors ministry.
