Our Purpose

Our Purpose as a Church...

Cornerstone Community Church is a church plant in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. We believe that we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to the community. We strive to accomplish this by investing in the community through youth outreaches, adult Bible studies, Sunday morning services, and various other ministries. We are a non-denominational, Bible believing church. We hold to these core truths:

Worship Our God: 

Our God is awesome, amazing...! We desire to bring glory and honor to Him in all that we do. We will faithfully worship our great God in our church and with our lives.

Share Our Faith: 

Jesus Christ CAN change lives!   We will invite our friends and neighbors to begin a relationship with God by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ. We will boldly declare the Good News of His death and resurrection.

Love Our Family: 

God works through His Church! We will establish aChristian community where all ages, races and cultures can fellowship together. Our church will be a place where people love, encourage and care for one another.

Build Up Our Members: 

God wants us to grow in our faith. We will disciple believers to maturity in their relationship with Christ. We will faithfully teach God’s Word and apply it to our lives.

Serve Our Community: 

We must put our faith into action! God wants us to show his love to our church family and our community. We will equip believers to use their gifts, abilities and resources to minister to others.
