Our Staff
Bill and Patsy Curry
Pastor Bill committed his life to Jesus Christ at age 20 and his life was dramatically changed. He went from living for himself to living for God and serving others. He graduated Cairn University and then earned his Master’s degree at Wheaton College. He poured his life into youth ministry for 25 years. He started our teen ministry in 1980 and our children’s ministry in 1987. In 2004 Pastor Bill became the lead pastor at Cornerstone. Bill and Patsy have led our Kids Club together for most of the last 30 years. Patsy also leads our ladies ministry and directs the children’s church for 2-3 year olds. Pastor Bill and Patsy have two grown children – Joshua and Rachel
Joe and Janie Darrow
Joe is a missionary with InFaith who has been working in Kensington since 1988. Joe has five children Joy, Jared, Zach, Eliza and Joey. He has worked in all phases of the ministry here from children and teens to preaching and teaching. Joe is currently focused on discipleship. He oversees small group studies and classes at the Church. Discipleship includes all aspects of the Christian life. He believes in teaching and also coming along side people helping put faith into action. Joe and Janie were married on August 27, 2022. Janie is a nurse and has been serving the Lord her entire adult life. At Cornerstone she continues to serve in many different ways especially working with our women.
Andy and Shannon Schultz
Andrew and Shannon first volunteered as Kids Club leaders while they were still dating and attending Philadelphia College of Bible. Several years later, after getting married and planning to serve as missionaries overseas, they returned to Kensington in 1994 for a two year internship and have felt lead of the Lord to remain here ever since. Andrew oversees much of the ministry to youth including Teen Club, Preteen Club, God Squad, and Extreme Team. Shannon helps Andy with ministry in various ways and home schools their youngest son Drew.
BILL AND GRACE MANNING
Pastor Manny was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. He earned his degree from Philadelphia College of Bible and has served in full-time ministry for over 20 years. In addition to pastoring, Bill has spent nearly a decade teaching and also served for five years as a missionary on the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona. He has a heart for the gospel and a deep desire to see the Church become all that Christ calls her to be.
Grace was born in Chicago but has lived in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia for most of her life. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and completed graduate work at Christopher Newport University. With over a decade of experience in education, nonprofit leadership, and ministry, Grace is passionate about equipping others and serving alongside her husband in the local church. Above all, she is thankful for her relationship with the Lord and the gift of her family - Bill and their four daughters: Esperanza, Gianna, Isabella, and Evangeline.
Lawrence and LINDA Goldsborough
Pastor Lawrence first came to Cornerstone Community Church in 1999 as facilitator of Family Life Homebuilders couples series, a Biblical based study on marriage. He has built relationships, counseled and mentored many since then. Pastor Lawrence joined our staff in 2013. He graduated from Jamison School of Ministry and Theology with a Bachelors degree in Theology. Lawrence and Linda were married in October of 2024 after both had been widowed.
